This dissertation investigates the curricula of Socioeducation, focusing on an internment unit in the Federal District. The research problem of the study is: how are the curricula of Socioeducation organized in a detention unit in the Federal District? The objectives include analyzing this organization; to identify the inventory of scientific research on the relationships between education, socioeducation, organization of pedagogical work and curriculum; map the organization of pedagogical work in the socio-educational context, highlighting its connections with the curriculum; to identify the curricula modeled in the inpatient unit, considering their influence on the institutional routine; to propose a continuing education course for professionals of the socio-educational system of the Federal District, with a view to the qualification of pedagogical practices and the elaboration of a political-pedagogical project. The theoretical-methodological approach approaches historical-dialectical materialism, using the category of contradiction. The study adopts a qualitative, exploratory methodology, with a case study strategy, combining categorical content analysis and data triangulation. Data were obtained through the state of knowledge, document analysis and semi-structured interviews with professionals and adolescents. The theoretical framework is based on authors such as Gimeno Sacristán, Michael Apple and Torres Santomé. The analytical categories identified include: participatory management versus centralization; flexibility and adaptation versus rigidity and excessive standardization; meaningful content and methods versus fragmented and decontextualized activities; and emancipatory versus punitive evaluation. These categories reveal the contradictions and potentialities of the curricula in the organization of the pedagogical work in the investigated unit. The curricula of Socioeducation evidenced the coexistence of prescribed and modeled curricula. There are difficulties in adapting to the individual needs of adolescents, while the centralization of decisions reduces the autonomy of the teams. As a technical proposal, the dissertation suggests a continuing education course for the professionals of the unit, with emphasis on the construction of political-pedagogical projects.
