THE SPECIALIZATION OF THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE IN DEFENDING THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION: A STUDY BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE OF REGIONAL EDUCATION PROSECUTOR'S OFFICES IN THE STATE OF RIO GRANDE DO SUL
Specialization of the Public Prosecutor's Office. Defense of the Right to Education. Experience of Regional Education Prosecutors' Offices
This study analyzes the specialization of the Public Prosecutor's Office in the defense of education, focusing on the Regional Education Prosecutors' Offices (PREDUCs) of Rio Grande do Sul. The qualitative research highlights organic collegiality and results-oriented action, as well as the initial leadership. The PREDUCs, consolidated as executive bodies, represent a commitment to the defense of education, overcoming traditional limitations. The gaucho experience emerges as a model for other Offices, based on collaboration and tangible results. The study also explores the collaborative control of the PREDUCs in the network of educational policies, highlighting the proximity to the municipalities and the joint construction of solutions. The model, although effective, presents challenges in maintaining the independence of the Public Prosecutor's Office. It is concluded that the specialization of the PREDUCs is more than an institutional design, but rather a profound transformation in the institution's way of acting.
