NON-POTABLE WATER RECOVERY SYSTEMS: AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSED WATER SUPPLY
Conservation of water; Building non-potable water systems; Condensate water; Predictive model.
This study proposed a model to forecast the supply of air conditioning condensate water in hot and dry climate regions, aiming to facilitate the design of building systems for harnessing this resource. Using a methodological approach that included systematic literature review and exploratory review, as well as a low-cost experimental approach, it was possible to collect climatic data and condensate water volume. The developed experimental method proved effective in obtaining data over short periods, with configuration flexibility and low cost. The results indicate a relationship between external temperature and condensate water production, with significant implications for the design of air conditioning systems in different climatic contexts. The forecasting model developed in this study provides a practical and accessible tool for construction professionals.
